- Reducing Engine Crankcase Emissions -- Contaminated crankcase emissions are a serious problem for diesel engine owners. Environmental concerns and legislation to control crankcase emissions have increased significantly. To reduce the total emissions of engines, it is becoming necessary to close the crankcase breather system, routing these gases into the air intake system. The Parker Racor Closed Crankcase Ventilation System offers an effective solution to reduce contaminated crankcase emissions.
- Preventing Fuel Spillage Into Waterways -- Often, during marine refueling, fuel is spilled overboard out of the vent line. Fuel spillage is not only expensive and wasteful; it is harmful to fragile lakes, rivers and waterways. When installed in the fuel tank vent line, Parker Racor's Lifeguard Fuel/Air Separator efficiently separates air from fuel forced into the line.
