The election of Droxner, a German citizen who previously served as president of Parker's European seal business, marks the company's first appointment of a worldwide group president from anywhere in Europe. In 30 years with the company, Droxner has held a variety of sales and management positions. He has a degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Furtwangen, and is a graduate of the Harvard Advanced Management Program.
"Heinz has had exceptional success, achieving above-average profits and growth for the Seal Group in Europe," said Vande Steeg. "Time and again, the performance of Heinz's team has met the test of economic difficulty, and under the current circumstances, is an excellent model for our Seal Group worldwide."
"I am very pleased and honored to have the opportunity to build on our success and take the integration process from our acquisition of Wynn's further," Droxner said. "Our focus will continue to be on our corporate objectives of premier customer service; financial performance; and profitable growth throughout our seal business around the globe."
