CLEVELAND, Oct. 2 /PRNewswire/ -- Parker Hannifin Corporation today announced the promotion of Nickolas ("Nick") W. Vande Steeg, age 58, to the position of Corporate Vice President & Operating Officer, effective January 1, 2002. With this appointment, Vande Steeg will join Corporate Vice President & Operating Officer Jack Myslenski in the day-to-day leadership of company operations. He also will become a member of Parker's Office of the Chief Executive.
